In April, many around the world celebrated Holy Week, which began with Palm Sunday - the day Jesus began his journey into Jerusalem to fulfill his purpose (See Matthew 21). Those who followed and encountered him along the way, being fully aware of who he was, yet unclear about what would soon occur, celebrated and blessed his journey by laying their coats and palm leaves along his path.
Jesus was on a mission to fulfill his calling by making the ultimate sacrifice for all of God’s people; his decision and courageous action was, is, and will always be seen as an act of unconditional love....so we say, Thank You Jesus.
It's Time to Unlock your Purpose & Calling
The beautiful and encouraging thing about this biblical story, is we see a man who is allowing God to work in him and through him, to achieve a greater purpose. Jesus is not only our example to know that we are deeply loved. Jesus is also our example to know that we too, can be used by God to do great and wonderful things....but we too, must be willing.
Now....if you're fully aware of how the story ends, you may think that God wants you to walk towards a similar outcome as Jesus - and you fear being hung on a cross to suffer a horrible death. Welp! - I'm here to tell you, that's not the case. Each and every one of us, has our own unique plan and path. What Jesus did, was done so that we would never have to do what Jesus did.
Take a moment to activate the love of God dwelling inside of you. Overcome your fears and mental distress as you journey inward to identify, accept, and fulfill your calling.
Here are a few ways to get started
Chasing purpose and stepping into your life’s calling is not an easy feat.
It takes courage.
It takes faith.
It takes believing in something bigger than yourself.
Jesus had fears. Although he knew what his calling was, he too wondered - could there be another way…
Allow God to strengthen you and help you see it through
Meditation is one of the best ways to show yourself unconditional love and create an internal atmosphere of peace, positivity, and joy. Once you give yourself the permission to release the pain, you create space for a monumental shift to take place in your life.
Go inside so you can remember: You are loved. You are incredible. Your future is bright.
