5 Delicious Simple Summer Smoothies

Summer is officially upon us. Bring on the sunny days. You are summer body goals, as you know, you are beautiful as you are, and we want to keep your hydrated glow shining all year long. 

In Body Goals we shared key tips on keeping your natural glow, from inside out. Part of those goals were ensuring your lifestyle included a diet rich in vitamins and nutrients. You know we got you and we couldn’t leave you hanging without sharing some of our go-to drinks for the season to come. 

This summer, while you’re out adoring the sun, cool down with some of our favorite seasonally inspired smoothies and allow them to hydrate and revitalize your body as you vibe under summer’s beauty and heat. 

Below are some of our favorite smoothies. All  are simple to make and packed with nutrients and vitamins for living a healthier, happier, refreshed you. Feel free to make adjustments and add-ons for your desired summer sippin’.

For Your Inner Glow

The Matcha Morning (green tea) smoothie is fruit filled and nutrient packed for jump starting the day with a kick! Cold, thick, creamy deliciousness perfect for a hot summer morning or afternoon pick me up.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Light Coconut Milk
  • 2 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder
  • 2 Handfuls Baby Spinach
  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 1 large Mango (fresh or frozen)

Preparation:

  • Add the coconut milk, Matcha, and spinach to the blender. Blend. 
  • Add the mango and bananas to blend until smooth and creamy. 

Tips:

  This smoothie is thick. For a lighter blend, lightly add more coconut milk until preferred thickness is attained.

  For a natural and fierce caffeine-energy boost use 3 tsp of Matcha.

The Green Goddess is for all those seeking to rebalance and ground themselves. This combination of veggies and fruit will energize, revitalize, and awaken the goddess within.

Ingredients:

  • Kale
  • Pineapple
  • Banana
  • Moringa & Collagen Powder
  • Kiwi & Blueberry
  • Flaxseed
  • Almond Milk
  • Honey

Preparations:  

Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until consistency matches your preference.

Feels Like Summer 

Glow from inside out as you enjoy this hydrating and refreshing smoothie as a snack or a sweet treat in the middle of the day. No need to catch the summer breeze when you’re feeling just as calm, cool, and lifted. Perfect daily dose of fiber, potassium and protein.


Ingredients:

  • 4 cups watermelon (chopped) 
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4  cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (preferably frozen)
  • Ice cubes 
  • 2-3 mint leaves

Preparations: 

Starting with the watermelon, place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.  

Enjoy the cool down! 

Restore! 

As things heat up, having a treat that is both grounding and filled with essential nutrients to carry you throughout the day is vital. Cleanse, restore, and re-energize your system with this delicious vegetable smoothie. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 lettuce leaves  
  • 2 celery stalks 
  • 1 banana 
  • 1 apple 
  • 1 pear
  • 1 lemon 
  • Handful of parsley, kale, and spinach
  • Choice of liquid base (water, coconut water, or almond milk)

Preparation:

Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana 
  • 1 mango 
  • 1 cup of pineapple 
  • 1 cup blueberry 
  • 1 cup blackberry
  • Handful of kale, spinach, or collard green 
  • 1 tbs. Maca root powder
  • Choice of liquid base (water, coconut water, or almond milk)

Preparation:
